Michael O’Connor, CPA

Mike serves as Chief Financial Officer at CoastalOne and is responsible for the management and execution of the finance department’s activities, specifically accounting and commissions. His primary objective is to provide the Coastal team with dynamic and effective financial reporting and promote an environment that complies with all relevant regulatory requirements.

Mike has worked in accounting and financial reporting for 15 years. Prior to joining CoastalOne, he served as VP and Controller at Cadaret, Grant & Co. in Syracuse, NY, as well as 10 years of prior experience in various roles for public accounting CPA Firms, specializing in financial services firms. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY.

Mike is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of New York, holds a FINRA Series 27 license and is the designated FINOP for CoastalOne.

Outside of the office, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife (Meagan), 2-year-old daughter (Olivia) and two dogs (Kap and Jackson). Mike is also an avid golfer and huge supporter of all things Syracuse Orange!
